Mary Jane to Present at Symposium on Play
Mary Jane to present “The Role of Play in Business” at the symposium, “Celebrating the Way We Play”, Friday, March 1st, 8:30AM to 4:30PM at GVSU Eberhard Center.
In collaboration with GVSU and Aquinas College, the Grand Rapid’s Children’s Museum presents a symposium on play to educate community leaders on the importance of play in preparing our workforce of tomorrow, in building innovation today, and in improving our community for everyone.
Presentations from Dr. John Kilbourne, Dr. Nkechy Ezeh, Mary Jane Pories, and other community members explore the benefits of play in business, education, health care and in criminal justice. A panel discussion explores ways in which we can make Grand Rapids the leading community in this country in playfulness, creativity and quality of life. Keynote speaker is Darell Hammond, founder and CEO of KaBoom!.
