Mary Jane Attends Inforum West Michigan Innovation Event

On March 24, 2011, Mary Jane joined other Inforum West Michigan members at a luncheon to hear about one of the newest innovations in successful business practices. Creative professionals from Amway, Meijer, Steelcase, and Wolverine World Wide spoke about how they have joined forces and established a collective “design hub” at 70 Ionia in downtown Grand Rapids dubbed “GRid70.” The shared facility provides employees from these separate companies the opportunity to collaborate outside of a traditional corporate environment in an economically viable capacity and encourages the meshing of creative talent. The design hub’s name “GRid70” stands for Grand Rapids Innovation Design at 70 Ionia.
